Mission: Our mission is to conserve our waters, wetlands and habitats through the protection and stewardship of mitigation areas. Unique Places to Save has a specific program dedicated to holding conservation easements over mitigation projects, whether stream, wetland, endangered species or other types of mitigation scenarios (www.uniqueplacesmitigation.org). We coordinate with private mitigation companies, landowners, investors and regulators to ensure mitigation projects are properly stewarded and include resources for long term management and maintenance.
